One Day Application
At Tough Tops, we only use state-of-the-art epoxy technology. Our commercial quality, solvent based, 100% solids epoxy hybrid can be installed in just one day! This saves you a lot of hassle and time, allows you to move your things in faster, walk on it faster and park your car on it faster. At Texas Tough Tops, we are skilled in the latest epoxy technologies and products. We have carefully selected the finest products for our customers. And, because we stand behind our work, it is especially important you never have problems with your floor. After all, we're the one's who would have to repair it. We don't like that. Thus, we do it right the first time.
The manufacturer of our epoxy is the same manufacturer who produces epoxy for warehouses, industrial shops, shopping centers, schools, prisons and other high traffic areas. Tough Tops would like to serve Austin, TX for many years and we are building our foundation on solid quality and minimal "call-backs." We want you to experience 15+ years of a beautiful flooring whether its your gareage, warehouse or shop floor. Unfortunately, many cheap epoxies, especially those found at home improvement box stores for do-it-yourselfers, only protect your floor for 2-3 years at the most. To fix these cheap floors, expensive equipment must be brought in to remove the layers of coating. Why not spend a few hundred more dollars and have the job done right?

1. Save 2 days in application time. Save 3 days in curing time. Park you car in the garage 5 days sooner.
2. Multiple layer sytems (epoxy w/ polyurethane top coat) peel far more ofen...as the layers peel from each other.
3. Our epoxy is 100% solids. It is thick and durable, lasting 15+ years. While other epoxies may be "commerical grade," they are water based commerical grade. Our product is solvent based. It's the highest quality.

OUR PROCESS
1. Professional Prep. We remove all oil, rust, dirt and grime that is deep in your concrete. We use a combination of diamond grinding and chemically etching to prep our floors. Our company used to use only shotblasters and grinders but found them to be far too invasive, aggressive for residential settings. In order to ensure optimal adhesion, we take the time to chemically etch your concrete TWO times and diamond grind all areas in which your tires will stand. This ensures solid adhesion and no peeling ever. We have consistent and positive results with this method.
2. Epoxy application. Our epoxy is not for beginners. It hardens within minutes and cures within hours. Precision and expertise is required. You will be impressed with the level of commercial quality, high gloss finish and thickness. Your new floor will resist scratches, chemicals/oils, abrasions, and harmful UV rays.

Warranty:
Tough Tops, LLC shall warranty its work against flaking and peeling for a period of one year from the invoice date providing the job has been paid in full terms. Tough Tops cannot warranty an existing coating adhesion to the concrete or any work that we have not performed. This warranty applies to flaking or chipping coatings caused as a direct result of product failure. The sole and exclusive maximum liability of Tough Tops, LLC under this warranty will be at the option of Tough Tops, to patch failing area/areas or recoat all coated areas Tough Tops, LLC deems advisable.
The express warranties set forth in this contract are in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation, any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty does not apply to promotional jobs that are given at no charge( in such case, there is no warranty).
Customer agrees that its exclusive remedy, and the entire liability of Tough Tops, LLC with respect to the specified floor coatings, are set forth in this agreement. Tough Tops, LLC will not be liable to customer for any damages, including any lost profits or other incidental or consequential damages arising out or its use of the floor coating or the breach of any warranty.
Conditions not warranted:
* Promotional jobs performed free of charge.
Hydrostatic pressure (caused from moisture being present underneath the concrete slab. This pressure can cause blisters, bubbles, and other effects in a resinous coating.)
Sub-surface contaminants (oil or other contaminants that can come up from within the concrete slab) could cause coating failure.
Deficient Concrete (concrete that breaks apart) and exhibits reduced integrity.
Non-skid will wear out over time and will not be re-applied. Performance accepts no responsibility as to the time or amount of wearing. The customer is responsible to maintain its own safe limits for slip resistance throughout the life of the floor coating application. Tough Tops, LLC recommends a coefficient friction of .05 or greater. Customer agrees not to hold Tough Tops, LLC legally responsible for slip and/or falls injuries/negligence claims.
